These terms apply to the Water Reminder app (the "app"), made by Ibtikar Al Ula for Information Technology and E-Marketing Co. Ltd. ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your license to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, under the rules of the store you downloaded it from.
You may not copy, modify, resell or reverse-engineer the app, or create derivative versions of the app, its content or its brand. All rights in the app remain ours.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store: Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. These terms add to it and do not replace it.
Free features and Premium
Water tracking is free. Water Reminder Premium is an optional, auto-renewing subscription that unlocks more features, such as every drink, full history and insights, custom reminders, widgets, health sync, watch sync, and cloud backup and sync across your devices when you sign in. The app shows what Premium includes before you subscribe.
- Plans: a yearly plan with a 7-day free trial, and a monthly plan. The app shows the price in your local currency before you confirm.
- Payment: Apple or Google charges your store account when you confirm the purchase, or when your free trial ends.
- Automatic renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. On the App Store, your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- Free trial: if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid yearly subscription. The store decides who is eligible for a free trial.
- Cancel or manage: on iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. After you cancel, Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds: Apple and Google process all payments, so refunds follow their policies. You can request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Google Play. We cannot refund store purchases ourselves.
- When Premium ends: the free features keep working and your water log stays on your device. Your Premium settings are paused, not deleted, and come back if you subscribe again. Your cloud backup is kept, and syncing resumes when you subscribe again.
Free month for early users
People who used the app before Premium was introduced get one month of Premium for free, with a reminder one week before it ends. It needs no payment details and ends on its own, without any charge.
Health notice
Water Reminder is a hydration tracking tool. It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice. Your daily goal is a general estimate based on your answers, not a prescription.
Talk to your doctor before changing how much you drink, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a kidney, heart or other health condition. Do not use the app to diagnose or treat any condition.
Using the app
Use the app lawfully and for your personal, non-commercial use. Do not try to break, overload or get around the app's security or its Premium checks.
An account is optional: you can sign in with Google or Apple. If you do, keep your sign-in safe: you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account and data at any time in the app (Settings, then Delete Account) or from this page.
Internet and data costs
Most features work offline. Purchases, restoring purchases and some sync features need an internet connection, and your mobile carrier's data charges may apply.
Changes to the app
We work to keep the app running well, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features. We will always describe a paid feature clearly before you pay for it.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we give no warranties, express or implied, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

Our Privacy Policy explains what data the app uses and why.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with its date, and tell you in the app about important changes. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.
